Probably my favorite Parliament album. This time, the show takes place underwater, in Atlantis where you can ‘funk’ without getting wet. The opening track sets the stage perfectly, with GC as Mr. Wiggles. Additionally, you’ll encounter Rumpofsteelskin (an ally of Sir Nose), the hit single Aqua Boogie, the delightful Liquid Sunshine, and the title track, Motor-Booty Affair.

Parliament, a powerhouse of funk and creativity, emerged from the mind of George Clinton in the 1970s, pushing boundaries and redefining what it meant to groove. With their eclectic blend of funk, soul, and psychedelia, Parliament’s infectious rhythms and out-of-this-world concepts continue to captivate audiences, proving that the funk never dies.
